Thank you for visiting to the online home of The White Rooms rehearsal studios. The business was established in 2006 by Dan Whiting and is still operated by him and Mark Hawkins. As well as band rehearsals we offer live demo recordings and assisted technical setup for things like backing tracks and in ear monitor (IEM) mixing. We have hot drinks on site and decent parking facilities. Bookings are made, managed or cancelled online by you using the button above. Black Room. First floor
The Black room comfortably fits five musicians. The mixer in this room is a Behringer X-Air XR16. 8 XLR and 8 jack inputs and 5 aux output plus mains. This is the best room for full band in ear monitor setups and a five channel headphone amplifier is attached to the desk already. PA system is a pair of dB Technologies 15" Opera loudspeakers driven by a 1KW amplifier. Bass amp is a TC Electronics Classic 450 head plus custom 15" cabinet. The acoustics in all first floor rooms could be described as dead, clear, controlled, dull.
Purple Room. First floor
The Purple room comfortably fits four or five musicians. The mixer in this room is a Behringer X-Air XR12. 4 XLR and 8 jack inputs and 3 aux outputs plus mains.
PA system is a pair of Mackie SRM350 mk3 1KW speakers. The bass amp in here is a TC Electronics BH250 head plus RS210 cabinet, The kit is a Mapex M Series birch 22" kick, 10" & 12" rack toms, 16" floor tom on legs plus matching 14x5" snare drum. The acoustics in all first floor rooms could be described as dead, clear, controlled, dull.
Yellow Room. First floor
The Yellow room comfortably fits four or five musicians. The mixer in this room is a Behringer X-Air XR12. 4 XLR and 8 jack inputs and 3 aux outputs plus mains.

The Orange room comfortably accommodates six to eight musicians. The mixer in this room is a Behringer X-Air XR12. 4 XLR and 8 jack inputs and 3 aux outputs plus mains.

Grey Room. First floor
The Grey room comfortably accommodates five or six musicians. The mixer in this room is a Behringer X-Air XR12. 4 XLR and 8 jack inputs and 3 aux outputs plus mains.

The bass amp in here is a TC Electronics BH250 head plus RS212 cabinet, The kit is a Mapex QR Series kit 22 kick, 12" & 13" rack toms, 16" floor tom on legs plus Pearl 14x6" steel shell snare. The acoustics in all first floor rooms could be described as dead, clear, controlled, dull.
Green Room. Ground floor
The Green room comfortably accommodates six musicians. The mixer in this room is a Soundcraft Powerstation 600 with 8 XLR/Jack inputs and two stereo input channels on jacks with 2 aux outputs plus mains.
PA system is a pair of custom 15" speakers driven off the amplifiers in the mixer. The bass amp in here is a Peavey TNT 115 100 watt 15" combo , The kit is a Mapex M Series birch 22" kick, 10" & 12" rack toms, 16" hanging floor tom plus matching 14x5" snare drum. The acoustics in all ground floor rooms could be described as bright, lively, intense, energetic
Red Room. Ground floor
The Red room comfortably accommodates six musicians. The mixer in this room is a Soundcraft Powerstation 600 with 8 XLR/Jack inputs and two stereo input channels on jacks with 2 aux outputs plus mains.
PA system is a pair of custom 15" speakers driven off the amplifiers in the mixer. The bass amp in here is an Ashdown EVO ii 500watt 15" combo, The kit is a Mapex M Series birch 22" kick, 10" & 12" rack toms, 16" floor tom on legs plus matching 14x5" snare drum.
